adding a SPLASH of color in the midst of a snowy day.

I'm home watching the girls today, filling in for Dad makes me appreciate all of the things he manages to get done during the day. Although the girls laid down for a nap almost and hour and a half ago they are still trying to whisper and Lily is lecturing Brea about how she cries "every day!" What imaginations those girls have. I'm afraid that we wont be able to elmocise (nice little play on words they did there huh?) after nap since they haven't done such a terrific job. We'll see though, if they lay down and sleep for a while i'll consider it :)

During their nap and in between visits to their room to hush them down, I've been working on some of my past photography. Playing with the idea of black and white with a splash of color. It was all the rage back when but now I see that it doesn't HAVE to be the cliche eyes, although I'm guilty of adding it in to the mix. I wanted to see what other things I could highlight. Give the idea a bit more thought and creativity. What else better to do on a snowy wednesday?

It's amazing how quickly my focuses can change. How fast my interests can grown and contort. Come back full circle and then spiral off into something new. Compulsive crafting in my case comes with a self diagnoses of adhd. I've never had anyone argue though i'd much rather be compulsive and interchanging than medicated. At least for now. I doubt some lonely office job could ever keep me interested and so why would I try to change myself to accommodate that. Instead I plan to find a career, or by all means multiple careers, that can be outlets for my interests.
